Sometimes things just happen and you can’t make it at the time you reserved.
Although we are certainly not out to keep your money there is a significant cost to us booking up a slot and then having it canceled or rescheduled.
So here’s our policy:
If a guest wishes to cancel his/her reservation, the initial $200 lock-in deposit is in no case refundable and is the only amount we encourage guests to deposit at the time of their reservation. Depositing rent or the security deposit prior to arrival gives a guest no greater consideration than just depositing the non-refundable lock-in fee. Once canceled, any attempt to schedule again within one year of the original reservation will be considered a reschedule and is subject to the fees below.
If a guest wishes to reschedule the following fees are involved:
* Free if rescheduled more than 60 days prior to the check-in date
* 20% extra rent if rescheduled 30-60 days prior to the check-in date
* 50% extra rent if rescheduled less than 30 days prior to the check-in date
Guests may reschedule as many times as desired but the reschedule fees are accumulative.
Note that the policies stated on sites we advertise on such as VRBO, AirBnB and TripAdvisor may be different than these. This is often because these services simply don’t offer the exact options we have or have their own fee and payment policies in place. If you booked through any of these services, we will honor their policy if it conflicts with our own. In general, booking directly through us will be less expensive and more flexible than using these services and booking indirectly.
